He added about his character Kendall Roy, “You know, there were numerous moments that I argued to Jesse about the thing that you’re talking about, this creature that’s lurking in the shadows.” “You know, sometimes at this peak moment of life, I thought about Will Smith and the way the shadow might sort of come and knock on your door and unseat you.”
So Kendall always has that happen to her,” the actor continued. “Jesse [Armstrong] is a better writer than I would be. Hence, Jesse believes things don’t always go in the other direction in the world. Nevertheless, you never get away with anything mentally, psychologically, or internally. Others get away with things, and you are being pursue by your demons and plagued by stuff.
